Last month, I filmed a Kpop dance cover with the talented dancers of HAVOC, and yesterday, we finally released the finished music video! Check it out:
For comparison (and giggles), here is the original music video by f(x):
Here’s the poster from the final scene, which I based off of the official album art:
And here’s the behind-the-scenes video on my newest YouTube channel, Nuddy Productions, which will be for all my filmmaking projects and BTS videos:
A little back story about how HAVOC and I met: back in the summer of 2013, I was a judge and organizer of the So You Think Can Kpop contest at Atomic Lollipop. HAVOC made it through online auditions, wowed everyone during their live performance, and won the competition. That was the first time we met. We saw each other at various Kpop events throughout 2013/2014 and we started talking about doing a project together. Fast forward to almost exactly 1 year after we first met … and here we are with a music video! Pretty cool.
Big thank you and props to HAVOC — Jessie, YJ, Vivian, and Victoria — we’ve already spammed each other’s facebook pages with tons of squishy comments, so I’ll just settle for a ❤ here. You can check out their facebook page here and their YouTube channel here.
This was such a fun project, and I can’t wait to do more. I’ll be filming more Kpop music videos this fall with my dance crew, R.P.M, so stay tuned!
